Specialist Background

Esther Ng Ying Yee is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours in Psychology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is registered with the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology and has more than 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents, including psychological assessment and psychotherapy. Her clinical interests include neurodevelopmental conditions such as learning disorders, dyslexia and ADHD, as well as areas involving social communication and emotional regulation.

Esther provides Clinical Psychology services for children and adolescents at Avisena Specialist Hospital 2, including psychological assessment and therapy. Her professional background includes behavioural intervention, learning support and reading intervention, supporting children in areas related to their emotional, behavioural and learning needs. Her clinical work also involves working closely with children and families throughout their developmental journey.
